After major renovations and upgrades to the studio, we are now happy to say that Safe Haven Studio is ready are rarin' to go.

Reed just finished building SHS's main audio workstation. It was his first computer build and it went off without a hitch. We'll try to update the website with some pics soon.

Safe Haven Studio is home to music producer Reed Butterfield.  We are about 45 minutes from NYC, and offer a creative environment with access to the best of vintage and modern equipment.
Here at Safe Haven Studio, we believe in the necessity of a clean and pure environment for musical art, free of unwanted distractions so readily available outside our doors.
Safe Haven Studio provides not only this optimum workspace, but also a much needed place of rest for the musicians using the studio.

Reed Butterfield, award-winning producer and owner of Safe Haven Studio is a veteran of the rock music production industry.  With dozens of projects under his belt, Reed strives to produce original ideas for each individual project.
Along with being a producer and engineer, Reed Butterfield is also an accomplished composer, arranger and musician, as well as a skilled graphic designer.  He graduated from Five Towns College with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Engineering.
Reed is the Technical Director of the Audio Program at a major NYC university.  He lives in central New Jersey with his wife.
